First up, "Happy the Hard Way" By Every Avenue. Favorite lyric: "How can love hurt this bad? How could we lose all that we had? Why do we follow through? What keeps us hanging on? We lived like a storm and let it ride, for all of the times we felt alive. But sometimes love just can't make you stay. When you're happy the hard way."
Second runner up, "Waiting for You" By the Workday Release. It's a cute duet full of love and patience and blah blah blah happily ever afters. Check it out if your in a bubbly mood. In which, I am not.
Third runner up: "Red" By Taylor Swift. First off, claps to my girl Taylor for successfully posting her whole CD on Youtube before it was even released. What is the point? To keep us interested? Or for us to get tired of you more quickly? Tip: Release one. Like you should have just stuck with Begin again, or Red. We are never ever getting back together is just...no words. Anyways, I'm not hatin'. She is a classy writer. (Most of the time.) Favorite lyric: "Loving him is blue like I'd never known, missing him was dark grey all alone, forgetting him was like trying to know somebody you've never met, but loving him was red."
Fourth Runner: "Over it" By Katharine McPhee. Such a classic. It just brings me back to the days of when Mindy and I would spend countless hours dancing on the hardwood floor. The music video is cheesy which makes it even better. Woah, Woah, Woooooaaah. This really brings me back to the day. We interrupt this message to bring you the best of the best. That would be Jo Jo's "A Little Too Late." Soak up the 7th grade-ness of it all.
Last, but certainly not least: The Avett Brother's "I and Love and You." My heart goes out to all the lover's out there. It's a tough field to play. And you certainly need all the equipment in order to play safely. You need a healthy heart (preferably without scars and bruises) and a sweet pair of Nike's for when you run away from the poor sucker. Because baby, Three words that became hard to say...I and Love and You.
Goodnight Moon and Goodnight You.
And Goodnight to all my lovely readers.
Much love,
xoxo
