"What am I, 5 years old?"
She smiled and said it was time to hunt for eggs.
I thought again to myself, "what am I....5 years old?"
The Egg Hunt commenced.
Might I just say, That with 18 years of experience tucked in my back pocket, I've become quite the egg hunter. Down on all fours I smiled in triumph as I reached for an egg my dad had called "unfindable." With only one egg and hour left before Church started, I searched carefully every possible hiding spot. No Luck. I turned to my mom as a final resort and asked for a clue. "Someone's expecting," she announced. Without missing a beat my dad bee-lined towards the Raggedy Ann doll sitting on the shelf. He lifted up her skirt, revealing the last egg. In my defense, I would have never checked there. I am no peeping Tom.
How I manage to get sick every Spring Break I shall never know. But after watching this video, I feel perfectly fine. (Not really.) I realize though that my sickness will never measure up to the sacrifices others have made for me. My Savior, Jesus Christ, has blessed me immensely. And though he give me trials, I know they are for my benefit and growth. He loves me. And I love him.
Once again, Happy Easter to all.
