HERE.
Details missed:
- I sang my very first duet with Jeremy on Tuesday. We sang "Lucky." (My security blanket, Megan, quit halfway through and let me sing the rest. She believes in me.)
- After dropping Megan off at the conference center, 2nd Dad and I waited in the StandBy line for far too long. (In the rain and snow I might add.) When we got in the Tabernacle, we still had an hour to kill so I sat there...swinging my legs back and forth, doing my best to muffle excited squeals. Ten minutes later I was in deep conversation with a newly returned missionary. We exchange outrageous stories like we had known each other for years. It was nice making new friends so quickly.
- On my birthday, we had dessert at Applebees. It was there a group of waiters and waitresses came up my isle clapping their hands and singing happy birthday. *I was on the verge of embarrassment. Megan and I of course spent the rest of the night acting our true age--five years old. (I bet the lady watching us creepily across the room enjoyed our little show.)
- We played the Cd "UP" by Shania Twain on repeat throughout the entire trip.
- Classic quotes: "Whattttt?" "What the heck!" "You sneeaaakkkyyy mom!" "How would you rate your pain?" "4 Stars." "It starts with an S!" "Hey Soul Sister does NOT start with an S!" "SOUL SISTER." "What type of guitar is this?" "The one that goes plink, plink, plink!"
- Getting hit on our very first day at BYU. "Sooo, are you guys return missionaries?" >Rachael starts laughing uncontrollably< M: "Umm...we're 17.""Oh...so you're LOOKING for a return missionary."
- Playing ping-pong with my brother who I miss dearly. (He states that I am better at playing ping-pong than any of the other scrubs he's played at college.) <--best compliment given.
- Megan having to call my Mom to ask where I would like to eat on my birthday. (Why they asked me all the questions I'll never know. I'm quite indecisive when it comes to food.)
- 12 hour drive home equivilates into talking nonsense and making hideous double chin faces. (Only Megan has seen my true double chin...oh and Erika. She witnessed our double chins during Conference.)
- Reading all of "Something like Fate" on the way to Utah. What a book. Let me tell ya, if you want a drama, squealing book, that's a winner for sure. Could. Not. Put. It. Down.
On another note,
The thought of working 10 hours at work today made me cringe. Until of course, I actually went to work and had the best time of my life. Dallin and I shared great conversations, filled millions of Easter Eggs, ate more than enough candy. (Before I left, he asked if I would come jump his car. I exclaimed "I don't know how to jump a car! I only know how to jump ON one!" He laughed. And then we jumped his car. *WE GOT SPARKS. (He told me that was good. It means our cars have a good connection. I better keep a closer eye on Betty White. She's too young to start dating. BAHAHA)
*BREAKING NEWS*
My sister got in a car accident this evening. (She was driving our bug. Shelly.) Apparently the guy who hit her was higher than the empire state, and laughed continuously while the cops asked him series of questions. Which by the way, he couldn't answer because he had no clue where he was, or WHO he was for that matter. We're so lucky she only got whip lash. Heavenly Father has blessed us this night. In more ways than one.
Lately I've been in the "Raawwwrrr" mood.
What does that mean?
It means that this is the theme song to my life as of late.
With love,
:) Rachule.
