Clarification: Makeshift phones are pretty simple. Two cans, one piece of string, put them all together and you get a semi-cordless phone. This definitely came in handy back in the day. And when I say back in the day, I'm not talking about the 60's, 70's, or 80's, I'm talking about...the 90's. That would be when I was a little youngster crawling around in diapers. Actually, now that I think back...I wasn't the diaper child. That was Alex. I was the run-free-be-free-climb-up-the-tree-naked-free kid. (I get a kick out of that one.) Besides the point, those makeshift phones came in handy when I wanted to call the neighbor boys over for an intense battle-to the-death gun war. But I've grown up now, and my Makeshift Phone has transformed into a money-sucking cell phone.(Its quite sad.) Ever since I met you however, I feel like I'm a kid again. Laying on the grass of an Elementary School lawn, dancing in the middle of the street, grass fights (that I totally won) and laughing for no particular reason--they all bring me back to my Makeshift Phone days...and I like it like that. :)
