The "Do You Like What You See" Strikes Back.

Remember this? The dress I mean, not Mothers day.
Well, it worked wonders today.
I was in a delirious state of mind this morning, scrambling to get everything together, when I decided to wear this little number. The second I scanned my badge and walked through the entrance doors, I knew I'd made the right choice. Sweet Old Bob welcomed me with a "Good morning :) And how's the fairest of them all?"I giggled and looked down. Yep. Definitely working my magic. I quickly scanned through my emails sorting out the importants versus the procrastinates and headed downstairs towards the Blood Drive. Boy oh boy did I have a blast :) We all joked about how we didn't need to play a movie, I could have entertained the employees just fine with my awesome dance moves. What can I say? I Love the B-52's. Before I left back to my office, Bob reminded me once again that I looked beautiful this morning. Hence his nickname "Sweet Old Bob" He really is.
Since today's Thursday I only work 5 hours. <--Best day ever.
15 minutes before I left, Jennifer turned to me and asked if I could help Jerry really quick. (A very important person.) I said sure and asked him what he needed. "Yeah, I'm looking for some packing boxes that you can use to pack up my office." He gave me a corky smile. I stared hard. But only for a second because we all started laughing as I said "yeah...in your dreams." (How I get away with sass mouthing a VIP, beats me.) Before I started my search, I let him know that there was a big chance there wouldn't be any available boxes this early in the morning. He nodded. (Confirmation that it was up to me to find boxes for him...no matter what it takes.)

The conversation after my search:

>Passing Jerry on the way back to my cubicle<
J: "So, how'd it go?"
R: "There is now a stack of four boxes in your office."
>Smiles really big<
J: "Rachael you're amazing."
R: "Thanks Jerry."
J: "So...do you always dress this nice or do you have an interview today?"
>I'm still walking towards my cubicle mind you<
R: "I guess I always dress this nice :)"
J: "Well you look beautiful."

Meep.

And that's how its done ladies and gents.

That's how its done.

PS. My Missionary letters both came today. Finally. I feel like I've been waiting half a century.
