What You've Been Waiting For :)

Prom, in detail.
As promised ;)

8:00AM- Cody picks me up for breakfast at Denny's. (Josh and Emily were there too) *Let me fill you in on a little joke. Cody and I were texting each other a few days before prom talking about our morning plans when he says "Well, we're planning on going to Denny's for breakfast. Josh needs to be home by 10 but we can hang out till whenever." I told him that I was a handful and he would probably want to spend as little time with me as possible. Then, he texted back saying "Fine, I guess I'll just leave you at Denny's for the rest of the day and I can go with someone else." <---Those were not the exact words though. Anyways, when we got to Denny's I told him that I expected him to pay for my lunch and dinner bill since I would be staying there all day long. We laughed. A lot actually.

10:00AM-Cody reluctantly drops me off and attempts at an awkward hug but no can do. He will never make my list.

10:00-11:00AM-Rachael cleans the house as usual. *Being home alone while cleaning the house is the best. Just sayin.

11:00-12:00PM-Rachael goes on a hot sweaty run. Attempting to burn off breakfast calories. (Plus I like to sweat?)

12:00-3:00-Finishing Scholarships and watching Disney's Peter Pan

3:30-5:00-Attempting to get ready for prom. And when I say attempt, I mean fail miserably. I literally finished getting ready 2 seconds before he knocked on the door. I was praying he would be late but....he wasn't. Grrrr.

Now the games begin.
From then on it was one big Fiesta.
We picked up the other couples then headed off to some unknown house by the river. There we took 5000 million pictures which actually ended up being one of my favorite parts. We were such goofs we really didn't care that the parents were still around.
After pictures we went to Cody's house (my date) for a few more pictures and dinner. Again, it was themed Cinco De Mayo so our dinner consisted of Enchilada's and Tamales! *Everything tasted so good. We even had the little mexican soda's. Complete with Mexican waiter. (Caleb!)
When everyone was done we each took a turn in the bathroom (probably not necessary) and drove to the convention center to take pictures.
DENIEEEDDD. or in the terms of our group, "REJECT THE HO!" They wouldn't let us in without a ticket, so we did the unthinkable. We went to the mall.

Yes. You can judge all you want. But we went to the mall and took pictures in the booths. It was one of the best idea's ever. I treasure that strip of photos more than anything. *We wore mustaches because we're that cool.
From there we went to the Ostlers for our "Mormon Prom" which ended up being a total blast. The theme was Titanic, a night to remember...which is kinda funny if you think about it. We split off from the huge group downstairs and partied like animals on the upstairs balcony. At ten o'clock sharp we left the dance and went over to Josh's house for smores, mexican hot chocolate and pinata parties. (Yes, we had a pinata.) The best part was the huge sombreros we all got at the end of the date.

Basically one of the best nights ever. I laughed so hard I probably peed a little. <--Again, that probably wasn't necessary...it just adds to the story.

Picturessss are worth a thousand words. And I have a million so here are a few!

We're Smokin.

I sat on his lap. He asked me what I wanted for Christmas. Tehe.
