One day (this day to be completely accurate), Kelley wrote Rachael a note during sacrament meeting. After the meeting closed, she handed the note to Rachael and they both walked to their Sunday school classes. Rachael read the note as soon as she got to class and was filled with ultimate happiness. And they both lived happily ever after. :)
I asked her if I could publicize the note on this here blog and she gave me the "OK-go" :)
"Dear Rachael,
I think you are super rad. I am so glad that you are one of my "senior friends." When you go off to college I won't know what music to listen to. Or who to talk to, or who to draw pictures for. Maybe you shouldn't go. Just kidding, College is a good thing.
Thanks for being so fantastic and super cute. It makes me feel good that you talk to me, and that you don't feel like you're a laurel so you can't talk to little beehives or miamaids like me.
Well, I just think you're awesome so I wanted to draw you a picture and write you a letter.
Love, Kelley."
Isn't she the greatest? Goodness gracious! I love that girl to death. And since I know one day she'll come across this here post, I think I'll write her back.
Dear Kelley,
You make my life sunshine and daisies. I wouldn't say that to just anyone I hope you well know. You make mutual less boring for me and young women's opening exercises much more enjoyable. The fact that you dress outrageously awesome and you listen to ridiculously legit music, only makes it easier for me to love you. How ever will I manage College and church without you? The thought upsets me greatly. You are the little sister I never had. Sending you my love forever and always, wherever I may be.
Love,
Rachael
