My Weekend Highlights

Highlight #1. Friday night I babysat my Math teachers (and Mythology teachers) kids. I was QUITE calm nervous. I said a kajillion prayers. (Quick and simple, "please bless the kids will like me.") The second the parents left, we were best friends. Mental thought: Why is it my best friends always turn out to be 7-9 years old?
Hightlight #2. Saturday, (eek!) my best friend Easton came into town. For the first time in forever my life resembled a movie. I walked out of my house, searched for his mini van (hotttt.) and there he was. >Sigh< He jumped out of his car and we definitely did the whole "running embrase" thing. 12 hours of pure joy could make anyone's weekend wonderful. And it really did. He planned the first half, I planned the second. I'm five years old (mentally) so my half of the night definitely involved five year old ideas. We painted my walls with handprints galore, baked cookies and frosted them with Dallin and Cameron, (I'm sorry I kicked you guys out. But I'm not that sorry. Hah.) and then snuggled while watching Return to Me. Mental thought: mmm....Snuggling. If only I could make this even MORE awkward for you readers. I would. And I can. I just choose not to.

Highlight #3. I woke up Sunday morning with a dreaded cold. Dah! I knew it was coming. I've never been completely healthy my entire life. By 3:00 I had the worst migrain I have ever encountered. By 5:00 I was crying in pain. (Please note that I won't take a pill unless I'm forced, or going to die.) By 7:00 I was brushing my teeth and saying my prayers. By 7:30 I was in bed. Asleep.
Highlight #4. I woke up this morning at 7:00. By 7:30, Dad and I were on the road. The Letters Best recognition breakfast could have very well been the biggest waste of time. I've never been so bored. But hey, breakfast was provided...haha.

Happy Holiday's everyone :)

Ps. I did in fact wake up to snow on the ground. Gag me.
