12:00 AM- I finally "finished" putting together Easton's Christmas present. It took me a total of 1 and 1/2 months to finish. And truth is, I didn't even finish it. HAH. I basically quit and told him to finish the rest. :) Side Note: I'm pretty sure he liked it. If not....well. That sucks?
Saturday:
7:00 AM- My alarm clock's piercing screams only semi woke me up. The cold shower did the rest of the dirty work. After curling my hair, (and managing not to burn myself for the first time ever) I gathered together the Christmas gifts and my one little sports bag and carried them to the car. (Yes, despite what you all might think...I pack extremely light.)
9:45 AM-We're on the road and I'm completely knocked out.
11:30 AM-Subway adventures.
2:00 PM- I'M HOME IN OLALLA :) Playing patty cake with Ella, taking walks with Ethan and Daddy pretending the whole time that we were surrounded by zombies, Ashley FINALLY coming over to see me, and all of us getting ready for the ward Christmas party :)
5:45 PM- One big party. (Vans party, Enchilada party, Cousin party.)
(Yes, I am wearing an Elephant sweater. My sister made it. She's the babe with the red hair.)
8:00 PM- Aunt Cindy's house for a Slam-Bam Party :) Can I just say that I met some pretty rad people on this trip? Shout out to a few new faces that deserve sweet recognition: H-Nelly (we finally exchanged hello's for the first time.) Kirsten (Sweetest girl on this planet and I hardly know her. She is a kindred spirit.) and lastly, Jaden. (I only went to early morning Seminary twice and I feel like I've known you forever! Thanks again for letting Ash and I eat the rest of your cinnamon roll...even though we completely deserved our own.)
Side Note: I may have seen a lot of new faces, but these are the only ones that were brave enough to say hello, and/or make conversation with me. Props. I don't bite. Do I?
11:00 PM- Everyone left the party--everyone except Easton and Russ. They were welcomed to stay till 12. (Cindy loves them both.)
12:00 AM-1:30 AM- Talking to Rich and Cindy about boys and how Rich popped "the question."
Conversation worth mentioning: >At the Ward Christmas Party<
Cindy: Hey you girlies, you should tell Rich you like his pants. He says rolling his pant legs up is in style right now...I mean I offered to hem them, but he protests.
Rachael: I'm so on it.
>About 12:30 at night.<
Rachael: Hey Rich, I like your jeans...they're way in style.
Rich: See Cindy, What'd I tell ya, they are in style. Thanks Rachael. :)
>All of us girls start laughing. Then we explained to him the conversation we had early. His face went red. Whoo!<
Sunday:
11:30 AM- Ash and Russ played during Sacrament. It was beautiful. :)
The rest of the day included much awesomeness...too much to mention.
Monday:
6:00 AM- Seminary White Elephant Party...probably one of the best things of my life.
11:00 AM- Wii Tournament with the old men.
2:00 PM- Preparation for our date.
4:30 PM- Back to Cindy's house for family dinner. (Easton, Russ, and Chris all tagged along.)
6:00 PM- Zoo Lights!
8:40 PM- Cold Stone Creamery.
9:30 PM- Christmas Present Exchange.
11:30 PM- Sleepy Time :)
Tuesday:
6:00 AM- Seminary Breakfast Party. I will seriously miss Jeff and Jaden. Seriously.
7:40 AM- Finish Secretariat with Ash and Chris.
9:00 AM-11:40 AM- JUST DANCE! (With Bri, Ash, somewhat Alex, and somewhat Chris.) I have never sweat so hard, and I've never been so sore.
12:00 PM- We pulled out of the drive way and headed home. Goodbye trees, goodbye family, goodbye friends. Hello tumbleweeds, hello work, hello emptiness.
What's sad is that this song actually played right as I was leaving Kitsap.
And yes, I listen to Barry Manilow. Don't Judge.
And Just replace New England with Olalla Okay? Okay.
