At Christmas Time....

The word ACT is playing hide and go seek in my post title. :)
That's probably because that's what I did this morning. I woke up at 5, was on the road by 6:40, and played charades for 3.5 hours. (Isn't that what you did during the ACT?) Clarification* I drew the card "pretend you're freezing cold because you're in a school where they take the term "remodeling" loosely. I played the part so well. My teeth were chattering, my fingers stiffened, and my nose was a continuous water faucet!(Not literally?) Needless to say, I kicked that 3.5 hours in the butt. When we came home, my mom was making Christmas goodies. I volunteered my services as the official taste tester, but that didn't fly. I ended up helping her until we both made time to watch one of our favorite Christmas movies--White Christmas. I worked on a few presents, she ironed, we both sang along. It was glorious. After the movie ended, my family put their tennis shoes on and went to the gym. (getting ready for the holidays :) Mom and I got a little carried away watching the movie "The Holiday." We stayed there a bit longer than usual. But no worries. Next stop, A Christmas Story with the CKC. (I got invited to the party...in my own house...I feel so special.)

Feliz Navidad! :)
