Yesterday was a landmark date in the history of the calender. The date, 11/11/11. The time, well the clock was going at normal speed so I suppose the time doesn't matter yet. I woke up, poured me some Cheerios (because I'm about five years old and I honestly believe they make my heart happy) and head straight for the computer room. It's there that I watch 3 hours of Once Upon a Time, the greatest television show ever created. I almost died of happiness. I felt like a vegetable when the last episode was over. So to cure my lack of productivity, I grabbed my keys and headed to the gym. Bad mistake. Here's a little background information you probably didn't know about me. I am, and always will be, a dedicated Disney channel fan. So when I stepped onto the elliptical and saw that Lemonade Mouth had JUST started, I knew at that very moment that I was going to be gym sucked. (Gym sucked is a word I came up with that basically means a good show came on and you feel empowered to stay till its over.) To my defence, I don't have cable. So the hours I spend working out watching Disney Channel barely make up for the lack of television I've watched in the past 17 years. Needless to say, an hour and a half passed and the show was still going. Can you say disappointment? Because I sure can. I was inevitably disappointed. I came home, took a shower, and waited for Megan to come through the door. Once we were both presentable and ready to go, we headed to Walmart, (sat in the middle of the magazine section looking through wedding dresses) Dollar Tree (to pick up candy for our movie night and to wish the cash register boy a happy 11/11/11 11:11 day!) and then to Yokes. (To pick up massive balloons for our ceremonial 11:11 wish.)
When we came back the Missionaries were already over. In order to make this day sound even more legit I have to play back one conversation we had at the dinner table.
Missionaries: So what are you girls doing tonight?
Megan: Rachael's making me watch the premiere of the new Disney Channel movie Geek Charming. Sometimes I question our friendship.
Rachael: What can I say, I will always be dedicated to Disney Channel Movies.
Missionaries: Well that's just....sad.
Later that night we broke open our spoils and at 8:00, watched Geek Charming. We laughed, we cried, we drooled over Josh the main boy, and smiled at the fact that Josh and Dylan (the two main characters) are actually dating in real life. The end kiss was perfect. Obviously it was natural to them but it made me and Megs squeal like two little girls. When it ended Megan turned to me and said these exact words. "Rachael, thank you for making me watch this." WACHOW! That's what I'm talking about.
After the movie was over we drove to our special spot. (45 minutes from the middle of nowhere.) It was there that we made our 11/11/11 11:11 wish. We had bought special balloons and wrote our wish on them. At 11:11 we released them into the sky and watched them float away. It was magical.
And that, was the perfect ending to my very magical day.

Let me set the record straight:
