Cat Fright!

I pour myself a bowl of cereal and head into the computer room. But as I make my way over to the glass, french doors, I hear a petrifying scream--coming from my cat. I set down my bowl and take a peek outside. Nothing. "Hmm....that's odd." I thought. I finished my cereal and went back into the kitchen for a banana when I get the impression to look out the window. I take one bite of my banana and pull up the window shade. To my astonishment, there was indeed a fully grown Coyote standing in the middle of my backyard. "Oh no, this can't be good." I raced out into the freezing November air and ran towards the Coyote. Thinking it might attack me, I stopped a few feet in front of it and yelled "GET OUT OF HERE!" He must have been scared because he did just that. Then, after feeling somewhat accomplished, I searched from my kitty. She was nowhere to be found. I ran inside and searched high and low for my dad. He was in the bathroom. I knocked only once. I just couldn't wait to tell him what had happened. "Dad, I think Janie just got either eaten or attacked by the Coyote that was in our yard just a few minutes ago." He literally raced out of the bathroom and we both made a beeline for the sliding door. Together we called our cats name and then finally, she appeared. She couldn't move (still in shock) and was scared to death. But, she was safe and unharmed.

My cat has never liked me. She uses me for my blankets. But after saving her life, I'm thinking she will start sucking up to me. Hopefully.

If not, I could always sick the Coyote back on her ;)

Muahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah!
