No Shame :)

Confession #123
I am a hard core Irish fan.
More specifically, Celtic Thunder.
Last night was their concert in Spokane.
I went.
I screamed.
I cried. (Okay not really, but I had the butterflies of the century)
And I about died.
If you wanna know what Heaven looks like,
It looks like Ireland.

So when I got home from school, and after I went to the gym, I came home to get ready for the concert of my life.
Hair: Curled under 10 minutes and put into a messy bun.

Damian Love <3

Make up: Provided by Alex the greatest makeup artist on the planet.

Smile: That's all me.

So we packed our things and arrived at the Casino. (Yes, the concert was in the Casino's Auditorium room) I can't get over how good our seats were. 9 rows back and you could literally see and smell the Celtic Thunder Crew. Dreams were made. Let me tell ya.

Highlights of the night:
  1. Ryan coming out to sing "Friends in Low Places." That's a country song. He's Irish. It rocked and EVERYONE got to sing out loud for this one. I think I sang the loudest. I think the girl next to me hated me. HAH.
  2. Emmet (who is DEFINITELY growing on me) came out and sang like an angel. He sang "This is the Moment." From Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
  3. Daniel (10 year old trying to take Damian's place) was actually pretty good. Somewhere over the Rainbow and You've got a Friend in me with Keith? Awesome.
  4. George. Big, Buff, and Bald. 500 miles. I screamed, I clapped, and I sang. Loudly.
  5. Ryan (who usually gets on my nerves) was actually one of my favorites last night. Desperado is one of my favorite songs. He must have known that 'cuz he sang it last night. JUST FOR ME.
  6. Intermission--running to the counter with my mom to buy the first available poster of Damian. (Size of my wall? Yah, that makes two.) Coming back from Intermission and talking about Damian (and my shirt) with a bunch of old ladies. (LOVE IT.)
  7. George singing Cat's in the Cradle (A really old song that my mom and I sing all the time.)
  8. Keith singing every love song ever made. Okay not really. He sang "I'm all out of love." He was most certainly the funniest Thunderhead last night:)
  9. Emmit (okay yes, he's FOR SURE grown on me.) singing his cute/funny song about a girl named Molly. Then all the Thunderheads got together to sing All gods creatures. (I sang also. But that's normal.)
  10. When they came out to sing their last song "Ireland's Call" I flipped. (I told my mom I would.) I screamed, and I sang, and I smiled.
Dreams come true everyday.
I am and will forever be Irish at heart.
Ps. A word of advice. When you go to an Irish concert, make sure you clap your hands as if you were square dancing. It makes things 10x better.

Pss. Our back drop was WAY cooler than that.
