Its been a while hasn't it? My seminary teacher asked if I was a dedicated daily blogger. I told him no. But I've missed blogging quite a bit and the sad thing is its only been about a week. So lets do a "Stop that. Reverse that." Shall we? (Please tell me you caught onto that Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory reference!)
Conference or Bust!
This weekend I went down to Utah with Megs :) It was the most spiritual weekend of my life. And you can read more about it (detail wise) by going to her blog. (Getoffyourfeet.blogspot.com) Do it. I dare you!

Homecoming.
Well folks, it happened. I got asked. (Confession: I secretly wanted to go.) >Insert the image of teenage girls in their jammies, pillows in hand, surrounding each other with giggles and smiles while I retell the story of "The Asking"< Yes. That's what I picture when I tell this story. Anyways, I came home Sunday night from my trip, said hello to my sister and headed to my room. I stopped. MY ROOM WAS GLOWING. My first thought: Oh...mom must have bought me something. NOT. I walk into my room and there were a million glow'n the dark stars and planets covering my already happy walls and there were glow stick balls hanging from my ceiling. I turned the light on. HAH. I turned them back off. It was indeed the coolest thing of my life. So I finally decided I should go in my room and so I flipped the lights back on. And Walla! On my bed there was a poster that said "Find your favorite Planet" I knew which one it was...and do you know HOW I knew? (Not just because its my favorite) I had literally tortured Cameron by playing the song "Jupiter" over and over and over again on the way to work. Well, I think he's brilliant. And my bosses and supervisors think so as well. (It seems to be the talk of the town at work)
Those stars right there, yeah. They're everywhere. |
Floating glow stick balls hang from my ceiling now :) |
And so do shooting star contraptions. |
Look for the Bare Necessities :)
Welcome to the happiness of my life. Here's a few highlights from the "Manic Mondays"
1. Charlie (my oh-so-funny co-worker) thinks his pranks are hilarious. I'm determined to get him back. He knows its going to happen so he's being extra careful around me. We passed each other in the hall and I gave him the "look." He laughed...But I could tell that when he said "Hey, don't give me that!" he was really shivering with fear.
2. Emails from Mike make me happy. Especially when they tell my Supervisor to give me a raise :)
3. And I quote "You guys are too funny and happy to work here" -- Security Guard. (That seems to be a regular occurrence)
4. I know this is from a long time ago...but it describes me well. >Cameron reads the door sign< "Keep this door closed." >Rachael pushes door open< "Oh well."
Pretty Pretty Princess
So today for mutual we painted pumpkins. This is how mine turned out.
